Jagaara - Marble Arch

“Wuh oh - we've got a new track for you! Hope you like it,” announced  Jagaara on their Facebook yesterday and the answer is yes we do. Marble Arch continues to take all those reference points that we noted on our introducing piece last month (the Haim x Staves suggestion goes beyond their sisterhood and actually into the music) and develops from a docile opening section into a swelling stadium ready piece of rock / pop complete with big ‘woah-oh-oh’s’ that sound ripe for getting the lighters / phone torchlights out and bellowing along, slightly out of tune, into your friend / lover's ear.

Although we’ve yet to see the group live, in our first piece on them we suggested that if you were at Latitude festival a few weeks ago you should catch them there. We’re pleased to see that Adam from Alphabet Bands blog did exactly that and has reported back that he spent a very pleasant 30 minutes in a tent in the woods with the three sisters - lucky old him. He also reports that they are even better live than on record which means that ‘see Jagaara’ is now on our bucket list and should be on yours as well.
