Yesterday around this time we posted a video of a song by a great new electronic pop act (Ulla Nova) that we’d previously streamed on the blog via Soundcloud a few months before and confirmed that the artist was playing this year’s Great Escape Festival. Today we’re posting a video of a song by a great new electronic pop act (Emilie Nicolas) that we’ve previously streamed on the blog via Soundcloud a few months ago and can confirm that she is playing this year’s Great Escape Festival. It feels like Groundhog Day all over again. And just like the Ulla Nova song Emilie’s Grown Up sounds better and even more beautiful this time round.
Directed / edited by André Chocron and produced by Andrea Berentsen Ottmar the video uses old –fashioned family video footage, but it’s very cleverly edited so that each flicker and each image very carefully matches the gorgeous music.
