The Vaccines - Wreckin' Bar (Ra Ra Ra)

It’s time for a short sharp injection of punkish indie rock ‘n’ roll. At less than 2 minutes The Vaccines know how to keep those with even the shortest of attention spans entertained. Wreckin’ Bar (Ra Ra Ra ) captures the spirit of The Ramones and romps home like Frankie Dettori on a Red Bull and vodka fuelled stallion. The buzz is substantial on The Vaccines right now - if they can maintain this momentum remains to be seen - but rather like a first date, if you start wondering if this is going to be marriage potential or just a few weeks of fun then you’re actually ruining the moment. Just go with it, jump into bed with them, have a boozey romp and leave the future to take care of itself.

Wreckin’ Bar (Ra Ra Ra) follows up the previously blogged If You Wanna and is backed by the slightly slower Blow It Up. Both tracks form the bands debut single and stream below. They played their debut gig at The Flowerpot in London last night, and from the few tweets and blogs we've seen it seems it was 100% rammed to capacity, full of guest list types and A & R people. Expect The Vaccines to be appearing on a number of Ones To Watch this year end - maybe even our own.
