The old idea of if something isn't working try something else had some logic to it. Unfortunately the song and performance were rubbish, and agreed it seems like the UK treats Eurovision as a joke.<br /><br />And yes - lets get Mozza on or Hurts. Let's take it seriously. The Darkness were also considered, but were apparently refused because they wanted to enter a song from their current album, something the BBC objected to.<br /><br />Unfortunately, the UK seems to treat Eurovision like a joke, and as long as this mentality continues, acts with a profile that could stand a chance will be reluctant to enter for fear of it affecting their career in the UK. <br /><br />Remember a few years ago Morrissey offered his services for Eurovision, but withdrew because he would've had to take part in the song selection process?
